Initial Setup & Connection

  1. Connect Square Account: In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Square Sync > Settings and click Connect with Square.
  2. Authorize Permissions: Log into your Square account and grant the necessary permissions (Catalog, Orders, Payments, Customers, Inventory).
  3. Select Location: Choose your primary Square business location or map multiple locations to your WooCommerce stock warehouses.
  4. Configure Webhooks: Enable Webhooks in plugin settings to receive instant push notifications whenever POS transactions or inventory updates occur.

POS-Only Storefront Controls

To keep specific products or menu items exclusive to in-person registers:
